HALLOWEEN IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER YA'LL

Thursday, of the October 30th!!

Here's the plan: (as written on the email)

The Program begins at 6pm:

1) We shall head for a nice dinner in a Restaurant at Square One

Take Note:

-Meet at the South Building Bus stop at 6pm

-pay as you go, meaning pay for your own meal

2) After dinner we head back to McGrath 219 for a Horror Flick!!!

3) Halloween Pub ($10) organized by UTM Blind Duck around 10.30pm ARGHH!!!!!

- ONLY $10

- we will head to the pub TOGETHER! :D

4) UNDER AGED?? (<19years> DONT WORRY LA!!, chill....

-we will dress you up like an old man or old woman! just dress old or young then they wont ask for your ID or even dress ridiculously SCARY that makes it awkward for them to ask for your ID! haha.. Oh wait dress up like Ugly Betty! then when they ask for ID??! you say: WHAT?? is it because I am UGLY??? Blardy!! hahaha.... ok ok no la...

Note:

- What you ACTUALLY have to do is just to get a pub access card (online) and you can join us in the pub *(of course, no alcohol for you doesnt mean its not fun and worth the experience) it will be honestly to cold to attend the other pubs in the future...

What is a halloween without a costume?? Chinese New Year? Deepavalli? Hari Raya? Christmas? hahahaha....

This Coming Saturday 25th October at 10am we will be escorting you all to get cheaper costumes (*screams AWESOME!!!) or maybe even more Scarier! (*scream: DOUBLE AWESOME!!!)... and did i mention CHEAPER?? (*scream: OMG!!! THATS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!).

The Orientation

Hello People! Yes the Orientation today was AWESOME!! I hope you all had an enjoyable time! and THANK YOU for COMING!! to those of you who did not show up, dont sweat it! there would be more events to come!

INFO SESSION for First Years at McGrath219 at 7pm, its basically question and answer time for your curious young minds to ask the seniors to be specific, our Mentor! Isabel and our President Rachel! You can ask stuff from registration, school related, technical, cooking, shopping, movies, how to vacuum also can! hahaha....
so make sure you come if your having all those, HOW AR?? thoughts going on in your minds! just to clear your conscience and also that is the reason we are here for :)

THE ORIENTATION:

The event started with an introductory session, where everyone introduce themselves... although the sweet passing system was kinda odd... hahaha i know you all were like wooot? haha.. anyways, now you all know everyone's name yea? :D Great! Outdoor Ice Breaker Game Time!

Basically its a Big Wind Blow with no wind involve.. *i hope*

Charade, basically someone in the Group has to pass a message to a group of people infront so that the person at the end have to guess what the action is.. Its really hilarious! i will post up some Video's when i am done resizing it....

We had a variety of local homecook food. Local as in Malaysian and Singaporean style...
Beef Rendang, Chicken rice, Curry Chicken, Cantonese Noodles, Mix Vegetables and Satay!

The last game, Photohunt!, Teams are given clues to figure out location *in the campus* and take a group photo when they find it.. The Twist, they have to form a sign of ESMS in the photo...

We went back for Second rounds for food... and Calculated the team points...
Team 1: Won before the PhotoHunt and Team 2 Won after the PhotoHunt *basically by points and biasness of the Malaysians* hahaha... So the Game Was Tied! haha. and POOR DAVIN have to be the MIME ACT for the Tie Breaker!.... Team 1 Guessed the Act! and yay! Won the Prize of:

LOCAL snacks! even KOPIKO!! yes! that coffee sweet you get in Malaysia and Singapore and its super nice and super cool and its like soooo cool! lolz.. ok ok.. its just a sweet* anyways!
Team 1 was SOOOO Generous *so touched* tear....to have shared their prize!

Orientation 2008/09 Coming Up!

Hi all,

The Society and its members wish you all a Warm (although its cold)*
Welcome all New Members and Welcome back all Old Members~

Guess what? Orientation is Coming Up! its the time where all members are going to gather and mingle around, meet new friends, old friends, weird friends, funny friends, hungry friends? Dont become No friend is good enough!: hahaha*

When? What time? Where?
OMG?? HELP!!

Chill~ its on:

Date: 4th October 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 11am - 4pm
Place: McGrath Valley (UTM residence)

Activities are planned out and we are going to dive/bungee/swim/fly/crawl Niagra Falls... haha... no la~:

We will be playing games and some ice-breakers (i dont think any ice is involve although this is a cold country so dont worryla, no one is going to throw ice at you) on that day.

Food served are going to be of course the best in the world of recipe, Malaysian/Singaporean Theme food... where else can you get Malaysian/Singaporean food here? so come la! :D

To those of you who have not sign up for the orientation, its not too late. You still can come and pay $7 on the spot, as long as you RSVP before Wednesday (October 1st 2008). To those of you who are coming, hope to see you soon!
